The hotel had a magnificent location close to Times Square. There was a good restaurant, a shopping area and the Farmer's market next door. The room itself was great-sized with a balcony. A shower, a hairdryer, and bath robes were very handy.

The Pool area: It was like having our own private oasis with a view. We felt like we were on a tropical island, watching the Manatees play and Pelicans fish right from our lounge area at the Pool.

Dirty carpets: The carpets in the common areas were quite dirty and made our feet turn black.

Good small hotel, had really nice stay.

The staff I met were excellent and knowledgeable. Location: the hotel was very close to a lagoon with lots of birds and beach and many restaurants and the shopping area. There was dessert restaurant Kilwin's, that I found within 5 minutes' walk of the property.

Besides, the location was magnificent for our stay, within 15 minutes' walk of Times Square.

The hotel's location is very central, near the lagoon and the center of the city; the apartment was clean, well-furnished, and had a spacious bathroom.

The location

The bedroom did not have a television. There needs to be a TV in the bedroom when all you have is a very small love seat that you have to share with a "friend" in the living room and both are uncomfortable. The garden view is a joke, I would call that a big green wall.

I absolutely fell in love with the charming decor of the hotel. The owners have done a fantastic job in creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The common areas are beautifully maintained and accessible for senior people like me. I especially loved the picturesque lagoon and the pool area with its lovely lounge section. It was the perfect place to relax and soak up the tropical ambiance.

If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more assistance available from the children working there. Although they were friendly, a bit more support for elderly guests would have made the stay even more comfortable.

We absolutely love the Manatee Bay Inn. The owners Axel and Connie were wonderful hosts. Our Room was very clean, modern and spacious. We stayed in the Carriage House across the street from the main office. The room we stayed in did not have a view - which we knew prior to going - but for us that didn't matter. We could easily walk across the street and sit out by the pool and look over the bay whenever we wanted to. We were only 1 to 2 blocks away from some great outdoor restaurants and about 1 block from the beach. For us it was a perfect location. We were very excited to meet other guests who come back every year to vacation at Manatee Bay Inn with friends that they met at the Inn. If we ever decide to visit Fort Myers Beach we will definitely stay at the Manatee Bay Inn.

The hotel is very nice, in quiet surroundings, and close to beach and restaurants. It was clean, and there are good Parking Facilities, good swimming pool, with a lovely canal views. Hotel owners is incredibly friendly and the service was high. I intend at any time could recommend this hotel Marianne Larsen from Denmark

The apartment comes with all the basic facilities and a balcony; it has a fantastic location near the boardwalk, wildlife, and the lively town center.

What a great surprise! The hotel room was very clean and quaint. Perfect size for 2, great pool nice view. I will definately recommend this hotel and return myself. The owners were very nice and pleasant to speak with. Had a great time there and loved it.

They offer a continental breakfast which was nice but the blueberry muffins tasted awful, good thing there were other options.

The views at sunset were marvellous, the location was central and amazing close to the beach, the rooms were spotless and reasonably large with a terrace and a couch, and the handy kitchenette was ok for us.

The inn was quiet and reasonably comfortable. While not on the beach, it was a short walk to the water. The room included a small kitchenette, and it was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils, plates, cups, etc. Even a grill. The pools were comfortable and inviting, and the grounds were well-kept. In innkeeper was very welcoming, and a good host.

The bed was very uncomfortable, very hard. The lounge chairs were broken on the dock were broken, or repaired in such a way they were unadjustable. The chair in the back deck was broken. It did seem like corners were cut unnecessarily on items that guests use frequently.

We got a room with walk-in showers. The staff was attentive, they made our trip! This hotel had a central position very close to everything.
